DAC: A discussion with Ring of Honor LB Lee Roy Jordan

He played for two coaching legends. He won championships playing for both. On Wednesday Cowboys Ring of Honor member Lee Roy Jordan joined Tim Cowlishaw and Steve Dennis in studio to talk about his past and what is next with his future for the Cowboys

Jordan started talking about how he got his start at the University of Alabama playing for Paul ‘Bear’ Bryant, playing both Center and LB for “The Bear” in his first championship season, eventually earning the praise “He was one of the finest football players the world has ever seen.”
Jordan’s success continued in Dallas under Tom Landry as he was selected 6th overall in 1963, registering a team record 21 tackles against the Philadelphia Eagles in 1971 and helped lead the Cowboys to a Super Bowl in 1972

Dennis and Cowlishaw airs each weekday from 3-6pm on 103.3 FM ESPN (KESN) in Dallas and wherever you are on kesn1033.com and ESPN Dallas Radio App found in the iTunes and Android store. Additional podcasts can be located on our website at https://www.kesn1033.com/category/featured/
