49ers’ Sherman on Bosa: ‘If he’s a bad teammate, we’ll address’

Veteran cornerback Richard Sherman said he won’t have any trouble with new San Francisco 49ers teammate Nick Bosa as long as shows up to play.Bosa, selected No. 2 overall in the NFL draft last month, admitted pre-draft that he had scrubbed his Twitter account clean of anything that could be considered political. The former Ohio State defensive end had tweeted his support for President Donald Trump, and also criticized former 49ers quarterback-turned-social activist Colin Kaepernick.”I had to,” Bosa told ESPN. “There is a chance I might end up in San Francisco.”And that he did, but the outspoken Sherman said the team is ready to welcome Bosa to the locker room.”It’s not like something where guys are like, ‘Hey man, what about what you said?’ No. No. If he can play, he can play. If he can’t play, he won’t be here,” Sherman told the Sacramento Bee. “But at the end of the day, that’s all that matters in football. Is he getting sacks on Sunday? Is he helping our team? Is he being a good teammate? Those are things that matter.”Now, if he’s a bad teammate, that’s something we’ll address.”
