The San Francisco 49ers signed free agent defensive lineman Sen’Derrick Marks to a one-year deal on Wednesday to add depth at the position.The 49ers have been hit with injuries on the defensive line, including defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (ankle) and defensive end Ronald Blair (groin).The 6-foot-2, 305-pound Marks was originally selected by the Tennessee Titans in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft. In four seasons with the Titans (2009-12), he appeared in 51 games (26 starts) and registered 180 tackles, eight passes defensed, three sacks, three forced fumbles and one interception.Prior to the 2013 season, Marks signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars where he spent the last four seasons (2013-16). With the Jaguars, he appeared in 52 games (35 starts) and recorded 104 tackles, 16 sacks, 13 passes defensed, five fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles. In 2014, he led the team with a career-high 8.5 sacks.Last season, the 30-year-old Marks appeared in all 16 games (one start) and finished with 22 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one fumble recovery and one pass defensed. He was released by the Jaguars on March 9.
