Linebacker Jerry Attaochu signed a one-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday, according to his representatives.SportsTrust Advisors posted the signing on its Twitter account. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, citing a source, reported the deal was worth up to $5.125 million, including $2.5 million fully guaranteed.Injuries have hindered the career of the 25-year-old Attaochu, who appeared in only four games with the Los Angeles Chargers last season and eight contests in 2016.A second-round draft pick of the Chargers in 2014, Attaochu flashed his pass-rushing potential in 2015, when he started 12 of 15 games and collected 6.0 sacks and 52 tackles — both career highs.
