PHOENIX — Colorado third baseman Nolan Arenado hit a tiebreaking, three-run homer in the eighth inning and drove in four runs in the Rockies’ 5-4 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday at Chase Field.DJ LeMahieu tripled off the right field fence into a shift that had all three Arizona outfielders to the right of center field with two outs in the eighth. Carlos Gonzalez then walked off Jake Barrett (1-1), the third Arizona reliever of the inning.Arenado followed with his 33rd homer run for a 5-2 lead, extending Colorado’s winning streak to five.LeMahieu had three hits and drove in a run, and Arenado also doubled in a run as Colorado (79-65) moved within four games of Arizona (83-64) for the top NL wild-card spot.J.D. Martinez had three hits and drove in a run with an infield single in a two-run eighth inning when Arizona closed within 5-4, but left-hander Mike Dunn stranded two when he got Daniel Descalso to fly out.Greg Holland pitched around a one-out error by second baseman LeMahieu and a walk in the ninth inning for his league-leading 40th save.Left-hander Tyler Anderson (4-5) gave up one hit in four innings of scoreless relief. He replaced starter Kyle Freeland, who was removed after being struck by a Martinez line drive in the fourth inning. Freeland was diagnosed with a left shoulder contusion.Paul Goldschmidt, Adam Rosales and Zack Greinke knocked in a run apiece for the Diamondbacks, who have lost three of four after a franchise-record 13-game winning streak.Greinke gave up five hits and two runs in seven innings. He struck out six, reaching 200 strikeouts for the sixth season, and did not walk a batter.Martinez doubled with one out in the second inning before Brandon Drury walked. The runners moved up on a groundout and Ketel Marte was intentionally walked to bring up Greinke, who singled off Freeland’s glove to drive in Martinez. Martinez was the NL player of the week after hitting .429 with seven homers and 11 RBIs in six games.
